Cove Mail
Refund Policy
Effective date: September 2, 2026
Cove Mail is operated by Michael Danko. This policy explains how to cancel renewal and request a refund for a Cove Mail subscription. Paddle is the merchant of record and processes all Cove Mail payments and refunds.
14-Day Trial
Cove Mail's 14-day trial does not require payment information and does not create a charge or paid subscription. You do not need to cancel the trial or request a refund when it ends.
Canceling Renewal
You can cancel renewal at any time through the Paddle customer portal linked from the Cove Mail website or your purchase receipt. Cancellation stops the next automatic charge. Unless you receive a refund or applicable law requires another result, you keep paid access until the end of the current billing period.
Canceling renewal does not automatically refund a charge that has already been completed.
Requests Within 14 Days
You may request a refund within 14 calendar days after an initial subscription charge or a renewal charge. This applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions. Requests are reviewed case by case under Paddle's Refund Policy. Submitting a request within 14 days does not guarantee approval unless applicable law or another agreement gives you that right.
Submit the request through the receipt or subscription-management link in Paddle's email, or visit Paddle Buyer Support and choose the refund option.
Requests After 14 Days
If more than 14 days have passed, email Cove Mail support. Explain the charge and why you are requesting a refund. Cove Mail may approve an exception based on the circumstances, but approval is not guaranteed. If Cove Mail approves an exception, Paddle will process the refund.
Billing or Technical Problems
Contact Paddle promptly about a duplicate charge, unrecognized charge, incorrect tax, or payment-method problem. Contact Cove Mail support if activation fails or a problem with Cove Mail prevents normal use. We will try to resolve product and activation problems, and we may approve a refund exception when appropriate.
How Approved Refunds Are Processed
Paddle returns an approved refund to the original payment method when possible. Paddle and your bank or payment provider control the processing time. A full refund ends the related paid Cove Mail access when the refund is confirmed. A refund does not delete local email data from your Mac.
Mandatory Consumer Rights
This policy does not limit rights that cannot be waived. If the law where you live gives you stronger cancellation, withdrawal, or refund rights, those rights apply. Paddle may ask for information needed to confirm eligibility under local law.
Changes to This Policy
We will post an updated policy on this page and change the effective date when the policy changes. The version in effect when a charge was made will continue to apply to that charge unless a later version gives you stronger rights.
